Alvarez is the Medical Director of Medical Sculpturing and Gyn Care in Henderson, Nevada, as well as Ob/Gyn Women’s Centre in Bullhead City, AZ.Specialized and dedicated to treating all aspects of women’s healthcare and wellbeing.He is an experienced cosmetic surgeon who has been practicing surgery for over 17 years.
Dr. Alvarez obtained an honorous Bachelor of Science in Northeastern University in Boston, MA by graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1985.Followed by his medical degree, residency and internship all done at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine with full American Accreditations and Honors.He is Board Certified and voluntarily recertified since 1998.Dr. Jose Alvarez is trained and certified by the International Society of Cosmetogynecology in association with The Academy of Medicine of Richmond, for in office based medical cosmetic procedure as well as Lipoplasty under local anesthesia. He has received intensive didactic and hands-on intraoperative training in every aspect of tumescent liposuction surgery as well as breast augmentation. His training also includes pre-operative evaluation and care, clinical pharmacology of tumescent medications, safe surgical techniques, safe power-assisted liposuction technologies, and the prevention and management of potential complications.
Dr. Alvarez’s memberships include The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the International Academy of Cometogynecology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecology, and the International Academy of Liposuction Surgery amongst others.
